About the Idiot

Pictured above, a common site. ‘I can read while I read? Score!’

So, a little bit about me in case you’re bored of my writing and/or interested in finding out.

So, I’m from the UK. I’m from a medium sized town somewhere in the middle where there isn’t much to do. Charity shops and hairdressers, mostly. So reading has always been quite a big part of my life here.

Some people do drugs, I went for books. At least twice as addictive, I have to say.

But I’ve always had a soft spot for telling stories. Lots of grand ideas and no commitment to getting them down. I was a terrible self-motivator. The angel and the devil sitting on my shoulders have clearly been on strike for the last 23 24 25 26 years and they’ve got a couple of sloths covering that shift.

But here we are. I’ve discovered a lot of free time, I’ve sacked the sloths and now we get one piece every day, fitted in around a job, work on an actual novel (I’ll put the title here when I’ve got more novel to base it on…) and occasionally even socialising.

Sleeping takes a backseat.

So, if you want a little something to read when you’re pretending to work in the office, or just a small distraction at the start of the day, stick around. At the very least, I can promise you variety.

  1. I enjoy reading your comments on The Quintessential Editor blogs; they are witty. I like wit. So it seemed a good idea to visit your website. Glad I did.

P.S. I have been here before but I don’t know if I left a comment. I hope I’m not repeating myself.
